Brett’s journey began in Seattle, Washington, where he was born into a family deeply rooted in both business and athletics. From a young age, he witnessed the power of community and the importance of giving back.
After attending Santa Clara University and Pacific Lutheran University, where he excelled in varsity basketball and earned Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and English Literature, Brett embarked on a successful career in finance. He founded Phoenix Private Wealth Management, a firm that specialized in providing custom investment solutions and estate planning services to high-net-worth families across the USA. By the time of his retirement in 2023, Phoenix boasted attractive ammount in assets under management and had established long-standing relationships with 90 clients, many spanning multiple generations.
But Brett’s true passion lies in giving back to the community. Throughout his career, he found time to coach recreational youth basketball, serve on church endowment committees, and volunteer at Dad’s Corps, an organization dedicated to supporting single fathers.
